Biografia

Omar Sharif był egipskim aktorem filmowym i graczem w bridża. Urodził się 10 kwietnia 1932 roku w Alexandrii w Egipcie i zadebiutował na ekranie w 1955 roku. Znany jest głównie z takich filmów jak "Lawrence z Arabii", "Doctor Zhivago" i "Funny Girl". Sharif był uważany za jednego z najpiękniejszych aktorów swojego czasu i występował w wielu prestiżowych produkcjach filmowych. Poza aktorstwem Sharif był także znanym graczem w bridża i reprezentował Egipt w wielu turniejach międzynarodowych. Zmarł 10 lipca 2015 roku w Bejrucie w Libanie, w wieku 83 lat.
