Marion Cotillard urodziła się 30 września 1975 roku w Paryżu, we Francji. Jest francuską aktorką filmową i teatralną, znana z takich filmów jak "Złodziejka kieszonkowa", "Krwawy Szpieg" i "De Rouille et d'Os". W 2007 roku otrzymała nagrodę Césara za najlepszą aktorkę za swoją rolę w filmie "La Môme" (w Polsce znanym jako "La Vie en Rose"). Cotillard jest również ambasadorką dobrej woli ONZ ds. walki z otyłością i chorobami dietozależnymi.
