Seymour Cassel to amerykański aktor, urodzony 22 stycznia 1935 roku w Detroit w stanie Michigan. Był znany z grania charakterystycznych i złośliwych postaci w filmach indyjskich i independentowych. W swojej karierze zagrał w wielu filmach, w tym "Faces" (1968) Johna Cassavetesa, "Rushmore" (1998) Wesa Andersona i "Independance Day" (1996). Jego naturalistyczne i improwizowane style aktorskie uczyniły go jednym z najbardziej cenionych aktorów w branży filmowej. Zmarł 8 kwietnia 2019 roku w Los Angeles.
